JOEL R. SIMON

Joel R. Simon, writer, researcher, and genealogist, is a man with many interests and activities. The purpose of this web site is to allow Joel to share some of these interests with the world at large and his many friends in particular.

At present, Joel is hard at work on a book about Weehawken, New Jersey, the beautiful community at the west end of the Lincoln Tunnel. This massive work will cover the geography, history, neighborhoods and streets, and people (individuals and organizations) of the Township of Weehawken in depth.

Joel R. Simon is the webmaster and President of the Long Island Chrysanthemum Society. Enjoy the website, which includes an essay by Joel on chrysanthemum culture.

Joel R. Simon's favorite restaurant is Akina Sushi a tiny but beautiful eatery located at 424 East Fourteenth Street in Manhattan, a few steps from the First Avenue Station on the L train.
